Drum Screen on Paper Making System

One essential piece of equipment for coarse screening in the pulping of waste paper is the drum screen. It is an auxiliary piece of equipment used in the D type continuous pulping system, and it is very good at eliminating light contaminants.

By coarsely screening the waste paper pulp that comes out of the high consistency hydrapulper, the drum screen, which is put after the hydrapulper, helps reduce the strain on later equipment. Depending on the pulp being input and output, the drum screen’s water spray pipe system can be modified to spray varying amounts of water.
