It is not necessary to put the disc thickening on a higher floor or use a specific water leg pipe. It is primarily used in place of conventional thickeners. It has a long service life and minimal power usage.

The combination of the disc thickener and the disc filter drum enhances the filtering area, resulting in a big production capacity; it has a high degree of automation, making it easy to operate; and it has a stainless steel filter screen and disc fan, making it strong and resistant to corrosion.
